We are a rapidly growing SaaS Software Company looking for a skilled Associate QA Engineer to meticulously evaluate software quality through manual and automated testing, with an emphasis on bug detection and reporting. Your role is critical in ensuring the flawless performance of our products, applications, and systems.

Role & responsibilities

• work with software developers and project support teams
• identify business requirements
• monitor applications and software systems
• carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing write and execute test scripts
• run manual and automated tests
• test in different environments
• write bug reports
• assess code
• carry out resource planning
• review documentation
• work towards departmental and project deadlines
• provide quality assurance
• provide objective feedback to software development project teams
• troubleshoot and problem solve
• design tests to mitigate risk
• present findings to software development and business user teams
• work on multiple projects at one time
• document analysis
• liaise with project teams
• communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues.

Preferred candidate profile

• Freshers or Trainee with 0-1 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of SQL for database testing is mandatory.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Selenium with Node.js is an added advantage.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
